Meet our team

  • Stephanie Haft, PhD

    Stephanie completed her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. Her clinical background is in delivering evidence-based treatments such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Stephanie's research training is in cultural influences on mental health and psychotherapy outcomes research. Currently, Stephanie studies emerging mental health treatments involving psychedelics as an NIH fellow at the University of California, San Francisco.

  • Devon Sandel-Fernandez, PhD

    Devon is a digital health researcher studying the use of technology to improve mental health treatment. She specializes in predicting risk behaviors (like self-harm, substance use, and suicidal behaviors) as they occur in daily life. Devon completed her PhD in clinical psychology and a graduate certificate in applied data science at the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently a NIH-funded research fellow at the University of Washington.

  • Esther Howe, MA

    Esther is a therapist and clinical science researcher specialized in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and ecological momentary assessment (EMA) research methodology. Esther has collaborated with investigators at Microsoft Research to design digital interventions, led community-based participatory mental health program design in the non-profit sector in Amman, Jordan, and trained in full-model Dialectical Behavior Therapy for teens and families. She is currently a psychology resident at the University of Washington.
